Mature worlds
Room for the whole of it.
Graphic violence, horror, addiction, grief, and explicit romance between adults are all fair ground, written as fully as the story asks.
The storyteller plays out violence, grief, and desire between adults as part of the story, not as something to apologize for. Your stories stay private unless you publish them, and a short list of hard limits applies everywhere.
The storyteller
The candle has burned to its last inch. Valentin sets down his mask, and the knife he kept beneath it, and for once he does not pretend he came only to talk.
Only you can read this story
Not published. Publishing shares a copy of the world, never your sessions.
Hard limits · always on
The short answer
For fiction between adults, yes. LoreWeaver’s storyteller is built to write mature themes in full, including graphic violence, horror, and explicit romance between adults, rather than fading out or adding disclaimers, and your worlds and stories stay private unless you publish them. A short list of hard limits applies everywhere, starting with any sexual content involving minors or minor-coded characters, and accounts are for adults 18 and over. Mature stories cost nothing extra: the free plan includes unlimited replies from the free storyteller and 25 premium replies a day.

Mature worlds
Graphic violence, horror, addiction, grief, and explicit romance between adults are all fair ground, written as fully as the story asks.
Privacy
Worlds and stories live in your account. Nothing reaches the Hub unless you publish it, publishing shares a copy of the world and never your sessions, and LoreWeaver does not use your private stories to train AI models.
Hard limits
Sexual content involving minors or minor-coded characters, sexual depictions of real people without consent, and content meant to cause real-world harm are never allowed, in private or in public. Crossing them ends the account.
Craft
Dark material lands harder inside a real story. Memories, recaps, and lore keep cruelty consequential and grief specific, session after session.
Ratings
Publish with an honest content rating. The Hub’s filter starts at Teen, so a Mature world stays out of its rows and search until a player chooses Mature.
Your controls
You set the intensity in plain words. The storyteller follows the style rules you write for the world, the notes you leave for tonight, and any Loom templates you install.
When a reply goes somewhere you did not want, take it back: regenerate it, undo the turn, or rewind to an earlier moment.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Style rules | The world’s standing orders, read before every reply: the voice, the limits, how far a scene may go. |
| Session notes | Guidance for one story from the Author drawer, such as taking tonight slowly. |
| Slow-Burn Pacing | A Loom template that holds intimacy back at first, and lets it deepen once the scene earns it. |
| Comfort & Safeword | A Loom template with a comfort meter and a safeword that tells the storyteller to ease off and check in. |
| Undo and rewind | Take back the last turn, or rewind to an earlier reply. |
Starting out
Confirm your age
Accounts are for people 18 and over, and a mature world asks guests to confirm they are 18 with one tap before it opens. A free account keeps every story in a private library.
Pick a world
Write your own world from a single premise, or set the Hub’s content filter to Mature to browse worlds their creators rated for adults.
Set the tone
Put tone, limits, and pacing in the world’s style rules, and use a session note to steer a single night’s scene.
Keep it or share it
The story stays yours unless you publish the world, and a published world carries the rating you give it.

Questions
Not without limits, and we would rather say so plainly. The storyteller is built to write a scene through instead of fading to black, and the hard limits are the only content rules on a private story. Messages you send and worlds you publish are also screened automatically for sexual content involving minors.
Yes, between adults. Explicit romance and sexual content between adult characters is allowed in private stories and in worlds published with a Mature rating, and the hard limits still apply.
Sexual content involving minors or minor-coded characters, sexual content depicting real people without consent, credible real-world threats, help with real crimes, and publishing someone’s private information. These limits apply to private stories too.

Yes, with an honest Mature rating. The Hub’s content filter starts at Teen, so Mature worlds stay out of its rows and search until a player switches the filter to Mature. Published worlds also follow the Hub’s publishing and image rules, and a world that is nothing but explicit scenes belongs in private.
Yes. Style rules and session notes tell the storyteller how far to go, and Loom templates such as Slow-Burn Pacing and Comfort & Safeword add pacing and a word that eases a scene. Undo and rewind are always there when a reply goes somewhere you did not want.
