Terms of service.

By accessing or using LoreWeaver AI (the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing the Services. You accept these Terms by clicking "I agree" during account creation or by continuing to use the Services after being notified of material changes. These Terms apply to all users of the Services, whether browsing anonymously, creating content, or maintaining a paid subscription.

To use certain features of LoreWeaver AI, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to: • Provide accurate and complete information, and keep that information current • Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activities under your account • Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

Ownership: You retain all rights to the content you create on LoreWeaver AI, including your worlds, stories, characters, Lore Cards, and other narrative entries. License to Us: By creating content on LoreWeaver AI, you grant us a limited license to store the content, display it back to you, and process it through our systems solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you. Published Content: When you publish content to the Hub, you grant other users a license to view and download your published worlds according to the sharing settings you select. AI Training: LoreWeaver AI does not use your private content to train or fine-tune foundation models or AI systems. We may use aggregated and de-identified platform metrics to improve the Services. Any use of your content for model training beyond this narrow scope requires your separate, explicit opt-in. Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your content and the consequences of posting it. You represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you create.

You agree not to use LoreWeaver AI to: • Create, upload, or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable • Generate content depicting minors in sexual or violent situations • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity • Interfere with or disrupt the Services or their underlying infrastructure • Engage in automated or excessive AI generation that disrupts platform performance or degrades service for other users • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services • Reverse engineer or decompile the Services, or attempt to derive the source code, prompts, model routing logic, or underlying architecture of any Proprietary System as defined below • Scrape or crawl the Services, or systematically extract data from the Services through automated means or manual workarounds • Use outputs generated by the Services to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or develop any machine learning system • Send spam or unsolicited communications through the Services • Violate any applicable laws or regulations We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.

LoreWeaver AI uses artificial intelligence to generate story content. You understand and agree that: • AI-generated content may occasionally produce unexpected or inaccurate results • You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content before publishing • AI outputs do not represent the views or opinions of LoreWeaver AI • We continuously work to improve AI safety, but no system is perfect You agree to use AI features responsibly and in accordance with our acceptable use policy.

Protected Innovations: LoreWeaver AI has developed proprietary systems and platform logic that constitute confidential and commercially valuable innovations (each a "Proprietary System"). These include, without limitation: • Loom Engine: Our conditional trigger system for dynamic narrative orchestration, including Loom threads and the associated trigger condition library • LoreMap: Our node-based relationship and entity visualization system • Lore Cards: Our structured narrative memory entities and their associated schema • Tiered Memory Architecture: Our multi-layer context management and recall system, including summarization behavior and per-tier context limits • Emergent Lore: Our system for dynamic lore generation and evolution driven by narrative activity • Multi-Session Start: Our branching session initialization framework supporting multiple entry points per world • Persona System: LoreWeaver AI's specific implementation of user personas and persona-driven narrative behavior • Soundtracks: Our audio integration layer and dynamic soundtrack mechanics • Hub: Our world publishing and distribution platform, including Creator's Corner • Creator Tools: Our authoring and world construction workflows, including prompt frameworks and structural templates These systems, together with their specific implementations, configurations, prompts, and interactions, are proprietary to LoreWeaver AI. Your use of the Services does not grant any license or right to replicate or derive the functionality of any Proprietary System, or to document any Proprietary System for commercial purposes.

Definition: For purposes of this section, a "Competitor" means any person or entity that operates, develops, funds, or materially contributes to an AI-powered interactive storytelling or narrative roleplay platform that is substantially similar in function to LoreWeaver AI. Restricted Access: Access to the Services by a Competitor, or by any individual acting on behalf of or for the benefit of a Competitor, is permitted only for personal non-commercial entertainment use by that individual. Access for the purposes of competitive intelligence, feature benchmarking, replication of Proprietary Systems, or collection of training data is expressly prohibited. Disclosure Obligation: If you become affiliated with or employed by a Competitor during your use of the Services, or otherwise materially engaged with a Competitor, you must promptly disclose this affiliation to LoreWeaver AI and cease any use of the Services that could provide competitive benefit to that Competitor. Prohibited Conduct: Regardless of affiliation, all users are prohibited from: • Reverse engineering or decompiling any Proprietary System, or attempting to derive its underlying logic, prompts, model routing, or system architecture • Systematically documenting or cataloging the behavior of any Proprietary System for use by a Competitor • Using outputs generated by the Services to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or develop any competing AI system or platform • Scraping or extracting data from the Services through automated means or manual workarounds for commercial use • Encouraging or facilitating any third party to engage in the conduct described above, including through compensation Acknowledgment: You acknowledge that the Proprietary Systems represent substantial investment by LoreWeaver AI and that unauthorized access or use by a Competitor would cause LoreWeaver AI irreparable harm for which monetary damages would be inadequate. Any breach of this section constitutes a material breach of these Terms.

LoreWeaver AI offers multiple service tiers, including Free, Plus, Pro, Ultra, and Legendary. Features, model access, billing terms, and usage allowances for each tier are described on the pricing page or at the time of purchase. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to: • Pay the applicable fees as described at time of purchase • Authorize recurring billing until you cancel • Provide accurate billing information Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. Usage and Service Changes: Usage limits, available models, feature access, and other operational parameters may be adjusted at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes through the platform or by email. Price Changes: We may change subscription prices or materially modify paid plan offerings with reasonable notice, including at least 30 days notice for subscription price changes where required. Continued use after such changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

The LoreWeaver AI service, including its original content, features, functionality, and design, is owned by LoreWeaver AI and protected by international copyright and trademark laws, along with other intellectual property protections. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written consent. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Services or our software.

LoreWeaver AI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that: • The service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free • Results obtained from the service will be accurate or reliable • Any errors in the service will be corrected Your use of the service is at your sole risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LoreWeaver AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from: • Your use or inability to use the service • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the service • Any bugs or viruses, or any other harmful code transmitted through the service

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination: • Your right to use the service will immediately cease • You may request export of your data within 30 days • We may delete your content after 30 days All provisions of the Terms which should survive termination shall survive, including the sections titled "Proprietary Systems," "Competitor and Proprietary Protection," "Intellectual Property," "Limitation of Liability," "Remedies," and "Governing Law."

Equitable Relief: You acknowledge that a breach of the sections titled "Proprietary Systems," "Competitor and Proprietary Protection," "Your Content," or "Acceptable Use" would cause LoreWeaver AI irreparable harm for which monetary damages are inadequate. In the event of such a breach or threatened breach, LoreWeaver AI shall be entitled to seek injunctive relief and specific performance, along with other equitable remedies, without the requirement of posting bond or proving actual damages. Attorneys' Fees: In any action to enforce the sections referenced above, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorneys' fees and costs from the non-prevailing party. Cumulative Remedies: All remedies available under these Terms are cumulative and not exclusive of any other remedies available at law or in equity.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes via email or through the Services. Your continued use of LoreWeaver AI after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree to the modified terms, you should discontinue use of the Services.

Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Arbitration: Except as carved out below, any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. Carve-Outs from Arbitration: Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may bring an action in a court of competent jurisdiction for: • Claims arising from or relating to intellectual property or trade secrets, or any other confidential information • Requests for injunctive or equitable relief, or other similar urgent remedies • Small claims court matters within that court's jurisdiction Venue: For any action brought in court under this section, the parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Fairfax County, Virginia.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms applicable to specific features, constitute the entire agreement between you and LoreWeaver AI regarding your use of the Services and supersede any prior agreements. Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction. Notices: We may provide notices to you by email or through the Services, or by posting on our website. You may provide notices to us through the contact information provided on our website.
