Free RPG generators Roll the start of your next story.
Four generators for game masters, solo players, and roleplayers: quest hooks, NPCs, tavern names, and magic systems. Each picks from tables we wrote, with no AI, every result has its own link, and any result can become a world you play on LoreWeaver.

The short answer
Are there free RPG generators without AI?
Yes. LoreWeaver’s four free generators roll quest hooks, NPCs, tavern names, and magic systems from 2,576 table entries, with no AI involved. Each line of a result is rolled on its own, so you can roll again just the part you don’t like, and the address keeps the result, so a link brings it back. Build this world opens LoreWeaver’s world builder with the result typed in.

- 01
The job
Roll a quest hook.
Who asks, what they want done, the catch, and the reward. Roll the catch again until it gives the table something to argue about.
- 02
The person
Roll the NPC who asks.
A name, a trade, a look, what they want, and the secret they keep, with the first words they say when the players walk in.
- 03
The place
Roll the tavern where you meet.
The keeper, the regulars, the menu, a bed for the night, and the rumor someone at the bar lets slip.
- 04
The world
Roll how magic works there.
Its source, its price, and its laws. Then press Build this world on any result to play it as a story on LoreWeaver.
Questions
The generators, answered.
01Are these generators free?
Yes. All four are free, with no account and no limit on how many times you roll. A free LoreWeaver account is only needed if you want to play a result as a story.
02Do the generators use AI?
No. Every line is picked at random from tables we wrote, 2,576 entries across the four generators. The same link always gives the same result.
03Can I use the results in my campaign or book?
Yes. Anything you roll is yours to use at the table, in a story, on a stream, or in a published adventure, with no credit needed.
04Do they work for D&D 5e?
Yes, and for any other system. The generators give names, people, places, hooks, and rules for magic rather than stat blocks, so the results drop into D&D 5e, Pathfinder, or a game of your own.
05How do I share or keep a result?
Press Copy link to copy an address that brings the same result back, or Copy to take the result as text. Rolling one line changes only that line, and the link updates to match.
06What does Build this world do?
It opens LoreWeaver’s world builder with the result already typed, after you make a free account. The builder turns the idea into a playable world, and an AI storyteller runs the story while you act in it.
