Personas
Your hero, saved once.
Write your hero’s powers, weaknesses, and day job into a persona and pick it in any story. The storyteller reads it before every reply, so your limits travel with you from scene to scene.
Design a hero from scratch, powers and weaknesses included, and decide who gets to know the name you use in daylight. The storyteller plays the city around you, villains included, and LoreWeaver remembers every rescue and every collapsed bridge, so your reputation follows you from one session to the next.

The short answer
LoreWeaver is a strong choice when you want to build the hero yourself. Describe your hero and their powers once, in a persona or on a lore card, and the storyteller plays the city, its villains, and everyone who might guess your name. Memories carry your history from one session to the next, and Loom templates track the public’s opinion of you and how close anyone is to your secret. It is free to start, with 20 replies in any community world and no account, then 25 premium replies a day on the free plan.

The Loom
Suspicion Meter tracks how close the people around you are to the truth. Lies, sneaking, and slips push it up, a good alibi brings it down, and if it peaks your secret is out.
The Loom
Install Reputation and the public’s opinion rises when you save, rescue, or protect people and falls when you threaten or rob them. When it runs high enough, strangers start to recognize you in the street.
Combat
Boss Fight gives your nemesis a health bar of its own. Add the villain’s name to its trigger words, and each strike knocks the bar down and rolls a d20 to see whether it lands clean.
Pacing
The Cliffhangers template asks the storyteller to end a reply on a sudden hook every several turns, the way the last page of an issue sends you to the next one.
Pictures
From Pro, scene pictures illustrate a moment from the story right in the chat, in the anime or realistic style you choose for the world.
