The short answer

What’s the best AI for LitRPG roleplay?

LoreWeaver is a strong choice for LitRPG because it runs the story and the numbers together. The storyteller plays the world and its monsters in full scenes, and the Loom tracks the game beside the story: an XP bar that levels you up, a quest log, an inventory with item counts, and d20 rolls for risky moves. Memories and a running recap keep your build and your history straight for the whole climb. Play 20 replies free with no account, then keep going on the free plan with 25 premium replies a day.

01

The Loom

An XP bar that fills as you win.

Install Leveling & XP and an XP bar sits beside the story. It fills when you win a fight or solve a problem, and when it tops out you gain a level and the storyteller shows what changed.

02

Dungeon core

Play as the dungeon.

In I Am the Dungeon you wake up as a cave, and the people who walk into you give you the power to grow rooms and make monsters. Give each room a lore card and it comes back into the scene whenever it is named, and a Loom counter can hold the power you have saved up.

03

Combat

Fights settled by the dice.

Dice Combat rolls a d20 against an enemy’s defense each time you attack and gives it a chance to hit back, with a health bar for each side. For the floor boss, Boss Fight adds a health bar of its own to wear down.

04

Loot

Items with a count.

Loot Drops gives each search a chance to turn something up, and Merchant Shop checks a real price against your gold before it hands anything over. What you carry sits in an inventory beside the story, with a count and a description for each item.

05

Memory

Your build, kept.

Every few replies the storyteller saves what happened and who was there, then recalls it when the scene calls for it. The class you picked on day one and the guild you crossed on floor two come back when they matter.

06

Your own world

A system apocalypse from one sentence.

Describe the setup in a line, such as a city where everyone woke up with a class and a countdown. The world builder writes the premise, the people and places as lore cards, who you play, and the opening scene. Add any of the 53 Loom templates and start at level one.

FAQ

LitRPG roleplay questions, answered.

01Can the AI track my level, XP and stats?

Yes, through the Loom. Leveling & XP shows an XP bar and raises your level when it fills. Attribute Checks rolls Strength, Agility and Wits once per story and adds the one that fits to a d20 when you try something risky. Mana & Spellcasting adds a mana bar, and any other stat can be a counter you add yourself.

02Can I play a dungeon core story?

Yes. I Am the Dungeon starts you as a cave under a hill outside a farming village, with a fairy named Bix who has run four dungeons before you and a guild inspector due on Friday. You can also build your own dungeon core world from one sentence.

03Is there a system apocalypse world?

Floor One is the closest official world: nine thousand people from Earth woke up on the first floor of a tower with game-style status windows, and sixty days later nobody has found the stairs. For a system that arrives on modern Earth, describe it in the world builder and add the Leveling & XP and Quest Tracker templates.

04Will the story remember my build over a long climb?

Yes. Memories keep what happened and who was involved for the whole story, and a running recap holds where things stand, including every open plan and deadline. Put your class and skills on a pinned lore card and the storyteller sees them in every reply.

05Is LitRPG roleplay free?

Yes, to start. Play 20 replies in any community world with no account. The free plan then gives you unlimited replies from the free storyteller and 25 premium replies a day.
