Lore cards are how you teach the story your world, so it never forgets the things that matter.
Each card holds the facts about one thing: a person, a place, or an object the story should know.
Let’s make one, for the echo bell Maren carries.
Click Add. Give it a title... the name the story will actually use.
Pick a category. It’s an object, so: Item.
Then describe it. This is exactly what the AI reads about it, so keep it clear.
Tags are other words that call it up. Short names people really write, like bell.
Now, the key part. A card is only sent when it’s mentioned: its title, or a tag, somewhere in the last twelve messages... ...or in the line you’re about to send.
When there isn’t room for every card, Importance decides which go in first.
Pinned cards are always sent, even when nobody mentions them. Save pins for the few cards every scene needs.
And turning Active off stops a card being sent at all, without deleting it.
Click Create entry, and it joins your Items.
Got lots of cards? Search, or filter by category, to find any of them fast. Next up: checking whether the AI actually used your lore.
