The Drowned Signal is a sci-fi survival horror setting on Pelagos-9, an ocean moon where humanity’s last mining colony hangs above an endless black sea. Decades ago, colonists built floating platforms, pressure domes, and deep-sea extraction rigs to harvest rare minerals from the abyss. Now the colony is failing. Storms are getting worse, oxygen is rationed, equipment is breaking down, and something impossible has started transmitting from beneath the deepest trench. The signal speaks in fragments. It imitates the dead. It predicts accidents. Sometimes, it calls people by name. The player may be a salvage diver, engineer, security officer, investigator, doctor, smuggler, corporate inspector, cult defector, or ordinary colonist trapped in a place where the sea is listening.
