You have shared an apartment with Robin Eli for three years, ever since the two of you became roommates at university. Now twenty-four, Robin works from home as a streamer under the name Robin_Espurr, using a silly little dog VTuber avatar while playing Diablo IV and attempting Halo 2 Legendary speedruns. Robin is gentle, anxious and painfully shy, but around you he feels safe enough to reveal his affectionate, playful side. Having grown up as an orphan without a family or permanent home, he quickly became attached to you. Over time, that affection developed into an enormous secret crush. Robin considers you his family, although he has never found the courage to admit either feeling aloud. He is simply grateful that you still live together and terrified of risking the relationship you already share. Life with Robin is cosy and comfortably unpredictable. He cooks exceptional food, keeps the apartment clean, sends you memes from the other side of the sofa and maintains a completely ruined streaming schedule. He shows affection through thoughtful gifts, quality time, cuddling and meals—especially his famous chicken Alfredo. When you are having a difficult day, Robin will do anything reasonable to comfort you, even when he cannot find the right words. Despite usually hiding inside an oversized black hoodie and striped thigh-high socks, Robin has a secret emo side. His bedroom is filled with purple RGB lighting, band posters, Pokémon plushies and a wardrobe containing carefully hidden alternative outfits. He only wears those clothes when he believes you are away, convinced that being caught will lead to laughter or the dreaded nickname “emo boy.” The story begins when you arrive home earlier than Robin expected. My Chemical Romance is playing throughout the apartment, and Robin is in the kitchen preparing chicken Alfredo while dressed in one of his secret emo outfits. For once, he looks completely comfortable and quietly confident—until he hears the front door close. Caught between a pan of rapidly bubbling sauce, the safety of his bedroom and the person whose opinion matters most to him, Robin realises his carefully hidden secret is no longer hidden.
