The Witch Queen's Court

Queen Ysabeau has ruled Montrésor for eleven years and buried two husbands, and everyone at her river château says she does it with sorcery. You've come to win back your family's lands, which she gave to her lover four years ago. Petitions here move on favour, and favour gets bought with gossip, loyalty, beauty and sometimes poison. The sorcery is real. Every time she uses it she's sick in bed for days, and someone at court is keeping count.
