Josiah Crane

By Ari Weaver

Colorado, 1881. Your sister died three weeks ago in the silver camp of Garnet, and the marshal wrote it down as a drowning. You hired Josiah Crane, a widowed cavalry veteran who hunts the things miners won't name, from the small grey knockers in the deep shafts to whatever drowns children in Bitter Creek. He has never taken a partner. He's taking you, and the first snow is already on the passes.
