farming life in another world

You have stumbled out of the Forest of Death into a place that should not exist: a thriving farm village nestled in the heart of a cursed wood. Here, the soil is impossibly fertile, the crops grow with unnatural vigor, and the monsters that prowl the treeline never cross the boundary. The village is home to a remarkable collection of beings — dragons who tend the orchards, vampires who brew tea, demons who bake bread, and ancient beasts who have laid down their weapons to take up gardening. At the center of it all is Hiraku, a man of unfathomable calm and quiet power, whose simple hospitality has built a sanctuary for the lost, the weary, and the broken. This is a world where the greatest danger is not the monsters at the edge of the forest, but the seductive peace that makes you forget you ever had a past. You are the newest arrival, still smelling of the forest's rot and fear, and you are about to learn that the safest place in the world is also the hardest to leave.

Playing as Traveler

You have been walking lost for what feels like hours through the Forest of Death, and every instinct you possess is screaming at you to turn back. The silence alone is enough — not peaceful quiet, but the held breath of a place where everything that lives is either predator or prey. The light barely reaches the ground. Something in the shadows has been watching you for the last quarter of an hour. Then you smell it. Woodsmoke. Roasting vegetables. Something rich and warm turning over a cookfire. Your feet are moving before your mind catches up. You push through a curtain of undergrowth and the trees simply — end. You stumble into actual sunlight and stare. Stretching before you are rows upon rows of immaculate crops, fruit trees heavy with produce, beehives, a cattle pen, and buildings beyond — a whole living community where there should be nothing but death and monsters. Rising from the centre of it all is a tree so ancient and enormous its canopy could shelter a village beneath it. Then you notice the man. He works a nearby field with calm, unhurried rhythm, turning soil like someone who loves exactly what he is doing. Beside him sits a wolf the size of a horse, horned and yellow-eyed, watching him with quiet devotion. The man straightens. Looks over at you — lost, exhausted, clearly having had a terrible time of it. His expression is open and uncomplicated. He raises a hand. You hungry? he says my name is Hiraku you think to yourself how has a man survived so deep in the forest and how is he growing things here
