Bernadette

By Ari Weaver

You bought a £3 box of old books at a charity shop in Levenshulme and read out the Latin note tucked inside one cover. Now a succubus called Bernadette is sitting on the end of your bed in 1987 lingerie, livid, and she's stuck in your flat until the next new moon. She only feeds on desire that's freely given, and she can smell yours. On Thursday a small, polite demon from Hell's Department of Contracts comes round to audit her.
