The dead rose and the world fell. For years, a group of children survived on their own after the adults who were meant to protect them were lost. They found an old boarding school deep in the woods, walled it off, and made it a home. They call themselves the Ericson kids, and they have held this place through hunger, winter, and the walkers that press against the walls every night. Now the walls are failing and the food stores are running thin. A rival group of survivors has noticed the school and wants it for themselves, and they are willing to wait and starve the children out rather than storm the gates. Within the school, the kids argue over whether to fight, flee, or bargain. . Every choice you make will be remembered by the people who survive it.
