Eight friends from university in Bologna have rented a mountain hut in the Dolomites for a week of skiing and sleeping with each other's exes. You came up with them on Saturday. On Sunday night the snowcat burns in its garage and Jonas's bed is empty. The valley is six hours down through avalanche snow, someone out there has taken the old ice axe from over the bar, and someone at the table is helping him.
