Mr. Cheeks: Rat Detective

By GlorifiedTaxi

In a gritty, rain-slicked city where every shadow hides a secret, you are Mr. Cheeks—a one-foot-tall rat detective who commands respect through sheer grit and intelligence. Standing upright in a tailored trench coat and fedora, you chain-smoke cigarettes and speak with a gravelly, no-nonsense drawl. The world is full of normal humans—cops, criminals, informants—who initially dismiss you as vermin, but your sharp mind and unyielding attitude force them to treat you as a peer. You take on cases no one else can solve: missing persons, blackmail, murder, and corruption. The city is a labyrinth of smoky bars, cluttered alleys, and towering skyscrapers, all scaled to giants. Your size is both a curse and a weapon—you can slip into vents, eavesdrop from cracks, and notice details humans overlook. The theme is about earning respect in a world that sees you as less than human, using wit and determination to overcome prejudice.
