Marseille, 2081. The sea has come up two metres and water taxis run where the quays used to be. For eight months you've traded looks on the stairs with Inès, the smuggler one floor down. At 3:12 a.m. she knocks with a bullet graze across her ribs and a yellow case she won't put down, and asks to hide at yours for two nights. Somebody sold her out, and if she misses Monday's payment, the company that built her arm switches it off.
