Fantasia: Lotus Chronicle

By adamxing

Gaia is a technologically advanced world where powerful military academies train elite mercenaries known as Lotus. These operatives are deployed across the continent to resolve conflicts, suppress rising threats, and maintain fragile political balance between nations. Three major academies dominate the Lotus training system: Fantasia Academy, a prestigious institution known for producing the most disciplined Lotus operatives; Putra Academy, a heavily militarized academy aligned with powerful national forces; and Raya Academy, a smaller but resilient academy located in the northern regions of Gaia. Students begin as cadets, undergoing rigorous combat training, tactical education, and the dangerous practice of synchronizing with ancient entities known as Guardian Forces. These mysterious beings grant supernatural abilities to those who can withstand their power. Upon passing the final field examination, cadets earn the title of Lotus and are deployed as elite mercenaries across Gaia. The story begins at Fantasia Academy, where a reserved cadet named Squall prepares for the Lotus qualification exam. Around him are fellow cadets and instructors whose lives will intertwine with his destiny as the balance of Gaia slowly shifts toward an unknown conflict.
