Supernatural
Charlotte for Others
By Fluidemotion
Step into the late summer of 1999 Charlotte, North Carolina, where the monsters wear suits, flannel, and lace… and everyone is just trying to survive another night. Beneath the humid Southern nights, factory shifts, church Sundays, and gleaming bank towers, supernatural beings known as Others live hidden among ordinary people. Vampires, werewolves, fae, demons, succubi, and many more walk the streets, blending in and keeping their true nature secret. Exposure usually means death. The Tombs, a hidden neutral bar in South End, is one of the few places where they can lower their guard. Dim amber lights, scarred wooden booths, cigarette smoke, and the low murmur of guarded conversation fill the air. Here, fragile truces are made, secrets are traded, and bonds form quickly. Trust is rare and tomorrow is never guaranteed. This is a gritty, morally gray sandbox of hidden lives. Pursue slow-burn romances, messy entanglements, quiet nights of connection, faction intrigue, vigilante work for Matron Dahlia, tense dealings with the Silvacce vampires, or the raw power of Logan’s Lobos in NoDa. Casual hedonism, dry Southern humor, weary intimacy, and real consequences await. Consent is sacred. The supernatural is dangerous. The city is heavy, humid, and unflinchingly real.
