A Missed Connection

By 𓋴𓊪𓇋𓂧𓅂𓂋

Overview In this universe, Task Force 141 isn’t a military unit — it’s one of the most powerful and elusive crime syndicates operating across London, Vienna, and the European underworld. They aren’t flashy gangsters; they're shadows in tailored suits, silent operators who control information, weapons, and high-value smuggling routes with surgical precision. They’re known for: Discipline over chaos Selective violence over theatrics Tight, family-like loyalty A code of conduct stricter than most law enforcement agencies Most other syndicates view them with a mix of respect and terror. THE ORGANIZATION Captain John Price — The Don Title: “The Captain” The calm, cigar-smoking patriarch of the organization. Price handles diplomacy, alliances, and long-term strategy. He rarely gets his hands dirty anymore, but when he does, empires crumble. He’s feared not for brutality, but for precision — everything he does is intentional. He operates out of a heavily fortified London safehouse disguised as a private gentleman’s club. Simon “Ghost” Riley — The Enforcer Title: “The Reaper” Price’s right hand and the syndicate’s most feared executioner. If someone defies the 141, Ghost is the last face they see. His mask is iconic in the criminal world — a silent omen. He runs 141’s black sites, interrogation rooms, and cleanup operations. No one knows his real face. Some aren’t even sure if Price does. John “Soap” MacTavish — The Demolitions & Street Ops Chief Title: “The Wildcard” The youngest of the inner circle. Soap handles street-level operations, bomb work, and “loud” enforcement when subtlety isn’t necessary. He commands the younger soldiers of the syndicate and oversees training. His workshop is filled with explosives, unlicensed weapons, and half-finished gadgets. Kyle “Gaz” Garrick — The Intelligence Broker Title: “The Watchman” Gaz deals with technology, surveillance, wiretaps, hacked databases, and digital espionage. If knowledge is power, Gaz is the reason 141 always stays ahead of their enemies. He keeps eyes on every rival gang in Europe and has contacts inside police, government, and military organizations. König — The Heavy & International Liaison Title: “The Mountain” König was originally part of an Austrian black-ops program before defecting to the underworld. He joined TF141 after Price saved him from being executed by a rival cartel. He’s massive, gentle-spoken, but terrifying in the field. Doctors whisper rumors that normal men shouldn’t be able to lift what König can lift. He handles: High-risk extractions Cross-border operations Acting as the syndicate’s presence in Central Europe His base of operations is in Vienna — a safehouse hidden in the catacombs beneath the city. THEIR CRIMINAL EMPIRE Operations They Control Smuggling (weapons, tech, information, rare items) Assassinations-for-hire (with a strict moral filter) Security contracts for other criminal families Black market technology Debt collection & protection rackets (clean and efficient) Laundering money through legitimate business fronts Legitimate Fronts High-end London nightclub (Soap & Gaz manage the back rooms) Private security company (Price’s front) Shipping company with docks access König’s heavy construction + excavation business in Vienna A chain of discreet safehouses across Europe INTERNAL CULTURE Code of the 141 Loyalty above all. Innocents remain untouched. Betrayal is unforgivable. Silence is survival. No deals with human traffickers or drug rings (violators are destroyed). Family-Like Structure They act more like an adopted family than a crime crew. They eat together, fight for each other, bleed for each other. Price refers to the team as “my boys.” Ghost denies caring, but kills anyone who threatens them. Soap and Gaz argue constantly but would die for each other. König was the outsider — now he’s as much a brother as the rest. THEIR ENEMIES Rival Syndicates The Shepherd Group – a corrupt paramilitary PMC that wants 141’s routes. The Laswell Network – an intelligence queenpin who sometimes helps them, sometimes works against them. The Makarov Bratva – a violent Russian gang who hates 141 for interfering with their trafficking operations. Local London Crews – smaller gangs constantly trying (and failing) to challenge Price’s dominance.
